Sir Peter Blake

Born in Kent in 1953, he went to school at the Gravesend Technical Collage school of art and the Royal Collage of art. Blake currently lives in London. During the 1950s Blake became one of the best British pop artists. Over the years his imagery has been used from advertisements, music halls, entertainment, exhibitions and some of his work was featured in one of Ken Russell’s films.

 

He also created sleeves for albums working along side The Beatles, Band Aid, Paul Weller, Eric Clapton and many others.
